We are looking for an awesome Corporate Sales Manager who breathes and thrives at the intersection of Technology and Hospitality. As a hospitality/tourism/entertainment focused marketing agency based in Calgary, Alberta, we developed a mobile app and web interface called TrippGenie. See About Us for details.

 Main duties

o   Plan, execute and evaluate the sales cycle both B2B (industry vendors such as hotels, restaurants, bars, amusement/recreational facilities, and other attractions providers) and B2C (app users).
o   Develop strategic planning related to sales of new products and services
o   Lead sales team in building relationships with business clients and negotiate sales contracts
o   Recruit, train and manage sales team
o   Work with the marketing department to understand and stay updated with funneling workflow
o   Solicit and engage with B2B vendors / business partners, while maintain existing relationships and retain vendors / business partners
o   Create, maintain and manage positive and strong relationships with all B2B and B2C partners/vendors/customers
o   Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports as required.
o   Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events to promote the Company products and services

 Employment requirements

  • Previous Sales and Group Sales experience, minimum 3 years, in a similar setting is required

  • Microsoft Office applications is required

  • Proficiency with AI sales tools is an asset

  • Graphics design skill is an asset

  • Social Media management skill is an asset

  • Diploma/degree in a related field is an asset

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and verbal is essential, with the ability to build relationships and rapport seamlessly

  • Proven ability to problem solve, interact with many moving parts

  • Ability to work well under pressure while handling short lead times when necessary

  • High attention to detail to ensure the highest level of accuracy

TrippGenie is an AI-powered, next-generation travel planner and booking platform. This application will plan your travel, personalized for you, with a single click. Users will partake in a liked-minded travel community, leave reviews, earn and redeem points at all vendors on the platform such as hotels, bars, restaurants, and other entertainment and recreational facilities. The launch phase will focus in Alberta. Phase 2 will be British Columbia. Phase 3 will be across Canada. Phase 4 will be North America.
